MorningStar Senior Housing Opens its doors - 4/27/2010
On Thursday April 22, 2010 the final site meeting was held to sign all the necessary paperwork officially turning over the building to the MorningStar Senior Housing Corporation. It was a great day for all the groups involved with this project. The site overlooking the Mississippi River was perfect for this type of facility. Coupled with the earlier finished 811 facility these two buildings complement each other on the large site which backs up to a heavily wooded park. This site did not come without its challenges but when complete the layout worked well. United Church Homes, a national sponsor, will manage this facility for Morningstar Senior Housing. Plans are in the works for additional facilities on the site and across the river in Iowa.
