After working for months on preconstruction budgeting, scheduling, constructability, biddability and design reviews with Altman-Charter Company, Eden Village Retirement Community authorized the site development improvements for the first phase of this new $19 million campus development project. The initial new construction phase will develop 82 new Elder independent living units, consisting of both one and two bedroom units. The three-story structure will provide a new commercial kitchen and elegant dining areas; lounges for resident use within each neighborhood area; wellness areas and many other amenities.

Concurrent with the new ILF construction will be the renovation and upgrades to the existing 63 bed skilled nursing facility, all of which are scheduled for completion by fall of 2006. The final development phase, still being designed, is the renovation of the existing apartment structure into a new 65 unit assisted living facility. This renovation work will commence after completion of the new ILF and is scheduled for completion in 2007.
